Stunning All Original Jumbo Size Solid 18ct Rose Gold Longines 1955
This is a remarkable almost museum quality unrestored example of the very rare Longines 27M Jumbo with fancy two tone dial from 1955
The only work we have carried out is to service the movement and give the case a light polish with a soft cloth.
The solid 18ct rose gold case is a jumbo size 38mm in diameter excluding the original crown.
The case edges are sharp and crisp, the serrations on the original winding crown are razor sharp. The watch looks like it was kept hidden away in a drawer and almost never worn
The movement is a calibre 27m which is quite rare and very high quality, this was Longines highest grade movement of this period. It has been freshly serviced and is currently running at plus 10 seconds per day , not bad for a 70 year old watch. The serial number dates this watch to 1955.
The beautiful two tone fancy dial is totally original and near perfect it has had no restoration whatsoever.
The hands are matching rose gold and all original.
Its the most original and perfect unrestored example you will ever see.
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
